Heat on? Dress on!

It’s the month of September and yet the weather outside makes it feel like we’re still stuck in the hot, sweltering heat of June. Going out in such weather does bring with it the need to wear something which can keep us feeling light and fresh all the time.
I recently went to the Cherry Tree bakery for an outing and to have something refreshing on a boring weekend. It’s all about the way I dressed up this time.
It is amazing how such a simple light and loose white short dress with floral print, brought from the local market, when paired with certain carefully chosen accessories and hairstyle, can result in such a perfect outfit.

The thin belt in the middle of the dress gives it a completely different look. The dress is so light that the quarter sleeves are no hassle at all. In fact, they also protect your arms from getting tanned!

It was a sunny day indeed and when the sun God is hell bent on trying to fry your face off, it is the sunglasses that come to your rescue.
These stylish reflectors from Ray Ban, apart from providing protection, also made the look striking.

People hardly like to keep their hair open in such hot weather (especially people with long hair). So, instead of going with the usual ponytails and buns, I thought, “why not make a stylish braid?” For this, I chose to have a Halo braid done for myself. The braid goes all around my head like a crown and as a result, I get a stylish look without having to compromise with my comfort.

Till now you guys must have got to know how much I love street shopping. These long grey earrings bought from a local market coincidentally went perfect with the dress.

The perfect attire needs the perfect footwear and these red boots from Myntra were a perfect match with the red floral print on the dress. Also, I always found boots with heels to be so irresistible.

Oh! How can I forget the alluring eye makeup? The Lakme absolute gel addict blue winged eye liner shade deep sea fineshed with lakme absolute black liquid eyeliner got me really addicted. And the Maybelline VEX Falsies mascara at least made my eye lashes thicker and more visible.

I hope you guys like the new outfit.

Don’t forget: Heat on? Dress on!
